KEEGO : THE STORY OF THE WORLD’S FIRST SQUEEZABLE METAL BOTTLE
DEAR KEEGO PIONEER, since you’re new to the world of KEEGO, we want to tell you a little bit about what has happened up to this point, about what KEEGO is and how it all started. Here we go…

The story of KEEGO begins in Switzerland. With an idea.

Or even more so with the realization of a problem that needed solving. A problem most athletes, professional or amateur, have come across. And have been living with for quite some time. Accepting it and mistaking it for something that cannot be changed. Did you know Roger Federer‘s nickname is Mister Clean? If you‘re from Switzerland, you do.  So since KEEGO‘s founder and his friends are from the Land of Cheese, they wondered: Why is mister clean drinking from cheap plastic bottles? Surely he has to take care of his sponsors, but King Roger should be in a position to rule his kingdom. And he‘s not alone in doing so – whether we’re conquering summits with our bicycles, boosting our core strength in the gym or fighting, running and scoring for our team – to keep going, we quench our thirst with water that tastes like plastic. Stale and flat. Even when it’s freshwater from the alps. Because we drink it from a plastic bottle. That’s not very motivating, is it? Quite the contrary, actually. Now some might suggest a metal bottle. Clean and pure in taste. But as an experienced hockey player, Lukas knew: that’s not the solution to the problem. It’s too heavy and too much of a distraction.

Athletes need a squeezable bottle to keep their focus, to stay in the flow.

So how do you create a sports bottle that keeps you focused, your equipment light and your water pure, healthy and tasty? A bottle that matches your ambition… If you’re thirsty for more and curious about what goes on with KEEGO, check our Facebook for regular updates. Until then, keep going.
