Hello everyone, Today’s post is dedicated to a very well run Bike Festival held every year in the scenic town of Riva del Garda. Being an expat heavily involved in the Cycling Marketing Sector i always make this is a ‘Must See’ event in my cycling calendar. By the way the nearest airport id Verona VillaFranca and then it’s a quick 40 minute to the top of Lake Garda.

This year starting signal for the mountain bike season 2019 will be given at the 26th edition of the FSA BIKE Festival Garda Trentino in Riva del Garda on May 3rd. With more than 45,000 visitors, 3000 participants and an outdoor fair with 170 exhibitors and 350 brands, the festival event is a highlight for all age groups.
Bielefeld/Hamburg/Munich, April 1st 2019. For a whole weekend the festival site at Lake Garda will be transformed into a paradise for cycling enthusiasts. From May 3rd to the 5th everything evolves around mountain biking.
The 2019 outdoor fair is not only bigger than ever, the exhibitors will present newest innovations and the latest trends of the season, as well as offering test bikes, special retail prices and much more. Furthermore, there will be guided bike tours and spectacular shows. The festival site opens daily from 10 a.m., the entry is free.
A must for each visitor is the popular Open Night on Saturday, followed by the Riders Party.
One of the sportive highlights of the festival event is the Rocky Mountain BIKE Marathon (May 4th), which attracts many ambitious hobby riders and professional international mountain bikers alike. Participants can choose from four different distances between 28 to 89 kilometres. The tracks have been optimised; thanks to new and wider passes, the riders can now enjoy full speed from the beginning.
The Scott Enduro Series 2019 (May 5th) and the Bosch eMTB Challenge supported by Trek (May 3rd) have been fine tuned for even more challenges and adventure, and the youngsters will collect experience at the Scott Junior Trophy (May 5th).
A novelty of this year’s BIKE Festival event will be the GHOST Recon Ride (May 3rd), a fun orienteering race for everybody. This event is not mainly about winning; but more importantly having fun.
